What to Prepare for Your Cat’s Stay

To make sure your cat feels right at home during their time at Curly Tells, we ask that each guest arrives with a few essentials.

  • Vaccines & Health Screening
    • Cats must have received a veterinary exam within the past 12 months prior to their first visit.

    • Cats must be current on vaccines recommended by your veterinarian, including Rabies and FVRCP, unless exempted for medical reasons by your vet.

    • All cats must arrive in good health, free of transmissible illnesses (e.g., upper respiratory infection, ringworm, etc.), fleas, and parasites. Cats showing symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes, nasal discharge, or skin lesions will not be admitted until cleared by a veterinarian.

    • We recommend flea treatment at least 14 days before boarding, especially for outdoor cats. Only veterinarian-approved products should be used. If signs of fleas are found, necessary treatment will be provided for an additional fee or boarding will be denied.

  • Carrier for Arrival & Departure
Each cat must arrive in their own secure carrier (hard-sided preferred) for safe and stress-free transport.

  • Food from Home
A supply of your cat’s current food for the duration of their stay, plus a little extra in case of delays. This helps keep mealtime familiar and avoids tummy upsets.

  • Medications (if applicable)
All medications should be clearly labeled with your cat’s name and dosing instructions. Our staff is trained to administer medications with care.

  • Emergency Contact Information
Please provide your preferred contact details, as well as a backup contact, in case we need to reach you quickly.
